FAQs
How often should I change my air filter?
Typically, HVAC companies recommend changing your the filters in your home once every 90 days, or roughly every 3 months. Regularly changing your air filter not only ensures better air quality but also helps your HVAC system operate efficiently, saving you money on energy bills in the long run. Our subscription service at ClairityFilters ensures that you don't forget to change your filter.
How do I find the correct filter size?
The size of your current air filter is typically printed on the frame. Look for numbers that indicate the length, width, and depth of the filter. It will most likely be in the format of "Length x Width x Depth." For example, an air filter that is roughly 16 inches long, 25 inches wide, and 1 inch thick would read "16x25x1". If you can't find the size on the filter itself, use a tape measure to determine the exact dimensions. Measure the length, width, and depth in inches. Round up to the nearest inch if needed.
What MERV Rating should I use?
